This weekend we are at the St George's Joust & Fayre At Cressing Temple in Essex. Celebrate our patron saint at a full weekend showcasing warfare through the ages. Marvel at mounted knights crossing lances, Meet warriors through the ages representing Saxon, Medieval, Napoleonic, World War II and even Cold War strategies. Be transported back to the sharpshooting days of the 1800's with the 95th Rifles Regiment of Foot. Other special attractions include sideshows from the medieval Alchemist, the futuristic EA Games gaming platform, including Dungeons and Dragons, have-a-go archery , Crosbow shooting, and music from the Essex Baebes. Cressing Temple's resident falconer will be giving a genuine medieval falconry demonstration and a medieval market fayre will take place in the 800-year-old barns. Get fitted for your own suit of armour! Dragon Hill will be there with the crossbows, Photography and the shop.

Dragon Hill was set up 2006 trading at both historic markets and on-line. We offer a range of childrens costumes and accessories from Romans to WW2 solders, from the best designers across Europe. Costumes range from cheap and fun to authentic, accessories include wooden swords, tiaras, hats, helmets and much more, all available to buy on-line today.
At many of our historic markets we also offer a unique and fun costume photography service, where we dress children up in historic costumes along with real swords, helmets and chain mail. photograph them in-front of a lovely backdrop before printing out a fantastic poster the same day. Many parents find this both educational and fun and the kids have a great record of their day out.
